System-wide User Policies
Security and usage limits applied to all users
Active Sessions Limit
10 maximum active tokens per user
Users can be logged in on up to 10 devices simultaneously. Oldest sessions are automatically logged out when this limit is exceeded.
Daily Booking Limit
20 maximum bookings per day
Each user can create up to 20 new bookings per day. This prevents system abuse and ensures fair resource allocation.
Note: Regular users are limited to 5 notification emails per day (booking and cancellation confirmations, reminders) to prevent inbox overload.
Maximum Booking Duration
30 days maximum per single booking
Each individual booking can span up to 30 days (1 month). This ensures fair equipment sharing and prevents long-term monopolization.
Policy Notes:
- These limits apply to all user roles (user, manager, admin)
- Daily limits reset at midnight UTC
- Token limit ensures security and session hygiene
- Daily booking limit prevents accidental or malicious system overload
